Purpose:

This standard describes a method of determination of the temperature below which solid hydrocarbon crystals may form in turbine and reciprocating engine fuels under cooling conditions, which may occur during flight or on airfield.

Supplied complete with following parts and accessories

The entire instrument assembly Consists of Unsilvered vacuum flask approx 10 liter capacity, Jacketed sample tube, Brass packing gland, Motorized stirrer, Stopper, Clamps, Refrigerated water-bath and Stand. Temperature range from 0 Degree Centigrade to -70 Degree Centigrade. 

Note:

Operator shall arrange cooling medium such as Acetone and either methyl, ethyl, or isopropyl alcohols, which are suitable for experimental purpose. All of these require cautious handling. Liquid nitrogen may also be used as a coolant
